About the Role
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will use your experience working in logistics to provide hands-on support to the wider team. You will manage the daily project requirements for the site, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and maintain well-organised and accurate databases. This is a contract role, lasting a minimum of 7 weeks. This role is based fully on site.
Duties
As the Logistics Administrator, your duties will include:
* Act as first point of call for incoming operations phone calls, providing excellent customer service throughout.
* Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including inventory control and tracking orders.
* Communicate with key suppliers and ensure correct contracts are in place.
* Processing invoices and chasing up invoices when required.
* Update schedule of ongoing work and upcoming work requirements.
* Liaise with Operations team, Project Managers and clients to ensure delivery of work.
* Provide project performance reports.
* Identify opportunities for reduced expenditure.
Skills & Experience
To be a successful candidate, you will have:
* 2+ years experience working in Logistics.
* Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent customer service skill.
