Are you ready to make a difference in the field of orthopaedic and spinal surgery? Australian Biotechnologies, located in Frenchs Forest, is seeking a dedicated Cleanroom Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing allograft implants for life-enhancing surgical procedures.
Join our dedicated team in a state-of-the-art tissue manufacturing facility where donated human tissues—such as bones, tendons, and skin—are processed in controlled clean room environments. These tissues are prepared for use in life-changing surgical procedures. Reporting to the Production Manager and Production Team Leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Use instruments to clean, cut, and soak donated human tissue for surgical use
* Process and prepare allografts according to strict quality and safety standards
* Process and prepare allografts according to strict quality and safety standards, utilising aseptic techniques, similar to those used by surgeons in theatre
* Working within designated cleanrooms to maintain a high level of cleanliness and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
* Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines set by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
* Packaging finished products with precision and attention to detail
* Performing basic microbiological duties
* Contributing to the continual improvement of our processes through ongoing education and training initiatives
Desired Attributes:
* Ability to work effectively within a cleanroom environment for extended periods, enjoying the benefit of a three- or four-day work week
* Ability to utilise sharp instruments to prepare allograft implants
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and management
* Physical capability to stand for up to eighty percent of the working time
* Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment is desirable
In addition to the required skill set, we are looking for individuals with a positive attitude and a deep respect for the donated tissue processed at Australian Biotechnologies. Applicants should possess a basic understanding of human anatomy, tissue allograft manufacturing, and/or cleanroom environments.

We are currently hiring for both full time and part time positions with flexible working hours between 7am to 9pm.
