We're looking for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing transport business and help us maintain our fleet in-house as we continue to expand.
The role includes:
* Maintenance and repairs on prime movers, trailers and dollies
* Confidence in diesel mechanics, tyre fitting and welding for fabrication work and repairs
* Liaising with suppliers to organise and arrange parts for ordering and collections
* Working closely with the operations team to keep the fleet safe, compliant and on the road
What we're looking for:
* A confident and experienced mechanic with their own toolbox
* Comfortable communicating with suppliers and managing parts requirements
* Willing to support the growth of the business and the fleet
* Happy to work with us to source additional tools or equipment as needed
* Comfortable working independently on tasks
What we offer:
* Monday to Friday – 8 hour days, with some weekend work
* Weekend work required on an as-needed basis
* Pay negotiable, based on experience
* Australian work rights required or sponsorship available to suitable candidates
