About the role
Ideal for mechanics or 3rd / 4th year apprentices looking to upskill into auto electricians. Light mechanical work on trailers and caravans. Modern, clean workshop with a supportive team in place and a hands on management team. Experienced auto electricians welcome to apply.
Duties
* Carry out repairs according to manufacturing requirements.
* Replace broken or defective parts.
* Test and replace electrical components.
* Repair and replace electrical wiring.
* Diagnose electrical and mechanical components for faults.
* Use special test equipment.
* Remove and replace electronic components.
* Maintain and repair braking systems.
* Our workshop's daily processes use up-to-date technology to provide the highest level of communication between the workshop and the front of the house.
Skills and experience
* Hold a current Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrician Trade Qualification.
* Have a genuine passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn.
* Have a down-to-earth personality.
* Hold a current automatic/manual driver’s license.
* Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Benefits
* Attractive Salary up to $40.50/hr for mechanics and $48/hr for auto electricians
* Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm + OT Rostered Saturdays
