With a long-standing reputation in the civil construction and earthworks sector, this privately owned contractor delivers complex infrastructure, bulk earthworks, land development, remediation and marine projects across metropolitan, regional and remote locations. Backed by a substantial fleet, in-house technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety, quality and project delivery, they have built a track record of successfully completing challenging projects across a diverse range of industries.
The Role:
* Oversee safety protocols on a multi-million-dollar Wind Farm project in the Eastern Adelaide region.
* Working collaboratively with site managers/project managers with upkeeping a safe project.
* Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
* Effectively communicate with site management team to assist with daily on-site tasks including toolbox talks, site inductions and daily pre starts.
* Review sub-contractor SWMS.
* Conduct on site safety audits.
* Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s
Must have:
* 2 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
* Minimum of Certificate 4 in OHS.
* Experience using safety software systems.
* Must have strong computer and communication skills.
* Experience working within civil construction.
* Excellent Understanding of OH&S procedures and protocols.
