Category Specialist Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Category team as a Category Specialist (Goods and Services) at Ipswich City Council.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of contracts and procurement processes for our Fleet and Waste teams, contributing to a more strategic approach for the Procurement team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement category strategies, procurement plans, policies and procedures that meet governance framework requirements.
Requirements:
* Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, or substantial proven experience.
* Expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, and contract management within a governance framework.
