About the client
The business is a large men's fashion brand with 25 years in market and over 100 retail stores across Australia and New Zealand. The business has entered a period of transformation regarding its logistics and is looking for a Warehouse Manager to run its Warehouse Operation in Sydney's West totalling 100 staff at peak.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics, the Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse activities, performance, inventory accuracy and hold control across receiving, online fulfillment, despatch and systems usage. Specifically you will cover:
* Operations – Lead the team of up to 100 at peak through your 3 Supervisors (split across 3 sections – online, receiving and dispatch). Manage performance, training and development with a focus on development of your team leads across pick and pack and despatch.
* Inventory – Ensuring accurate stock levels are held on site to maximise space and DIFOT. Size and Colour inventory exposure preferred.
* Systems – Ensure the newly implemented ERP system is integrated into daily work behaviours and used effectively.
* 3PL – Work closely with the business's 3PL transport providers ensuring a customer first focus.
* Safety & Continuous Improvement – Focus on safe working at all times with a culture of improvement and engagement within the warehouse.
About You
You are a proven warehouse/operations manager with experience gained within fashion, apparel, footwear or similar. You have a strong understanding of size and colour inventory and have strong exposure to (and use of) WMS. You are a Manager with clarity of thought and decision making and will be able to hit the ground running and autonomously lead this large 10,000+ Sqm warehouse.
