Accounts & Finance Coordinator (Construction)
Factor Constructions is seeking an experienced Accounts and Finance Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a key role that supports the financial management of multiple construction projects and works closely with the CFO to provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and operational support across the business.
We're looking for someone with a solid background in construction accounting, a strong handle on financial systems, and the ability to manage day-to-day processes while contributing to broader planning and analysis.

Factor Constructions is a privately owned, design-focused builder based on the Gold Coast, delivering projects across South East Queensland. Our work spans high-end townhouses, boutique apartment buildings, and commercial assets including childcare centres—both for external clients and our own development pipeline.

Your Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, BAS preparation, payroll coordination, and general ledger entries.
Job Costing & Cash Flow Management
Maintain project budgets and cash flow forecasts; support weekly and monthly reporting cycles and ensure real-time visibility over job performance.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Assist with financial planning, variance analysis, and preparation of internal reports and presentations.
Compliance & Claims
Monitor contract claims, progress payments, retentions, and ensure financial records reflect contractual obligations.
System Management
Use Jobpac to manage financial workflows across active projects.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction finance or project accounting
Knowledge of Jobpac is highly regarded, but not essential. Training will be provided.
Understanding of construction contracts, claims, and retention frameworks
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with internal stakeholders
Experience producing reliable, accurate reporting under time constraints
