Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our tight‐knit and collaborative Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services team, based in our Brisbane office at Eight Mile Plains. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist the business with the preparation of monthly management reporting and accounting tasks for our Queensland based businesses. These tasks include month‐end reporting, reviewing financial performance against KPIs, assisting managers with operating and capital budgets, supporting tenders, projects and new contracts as needed, implementing the new ERP system, and providing post‐implementation support.
Responsibilities
* Prepare month‐end reporting and review financial performance against KPIs.
* Assist managers with operating and capital budget preparation.
* Provide support on tenders, projects and new contracts as required.
* Implement and support the new ERP system, including training, roll‐out and post‐implementation support.
* Ensure accurate, timely information in compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
* Identify and initiate process improvements and support ad‐hoc projects.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in accounting.
* Experience in an accountancy role within construction, engineering or a similar project‐based environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships across the business.
* Desire to develop, make a positive impact, and engage a range of stakeholders.
Requirements
Ability to travel regularly to support operational teams throughout regional offices in Queensland.
