Pool Service Technition Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional responsible for the advanced maintenance, repair, and technical operation of swimming pools, spas, and water features.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and technical operations of pool systems, including pumps, motors, heaters, filters, automated control systems, and chemical feeders.
* Conduct leak detection and structural inspections, and execute necessary repairs to pool shells, decking, and plumbing.
* Install, program, and maintain sophisticated pool automation and chemical dosing systems.
* Manage and execute major equipment replacement and renovation projects.
* Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and equipment conditions.
Water Chemistry and Safety:
* Conduct advanced water testing and chemical balancing, ensuring adherence to local health codes and safety regulations.
* Maintain chemical inventory and safely handle hazardous materials.
* Ensure all safety equipment is functioning correctly and complies with current regulations.
Leadership and Mentorship:
* Act as a technical mentor and trainer for Pool Technicians, sharing advanced knowledge and best practices.
* Assist in developing standard operating procedures for maintenance and repair tasks.
* Oversee the quality and completeness of work performed by less experienced team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 7 years of experience as a Pool Technician, with a focus on advanced repairs and diagnostics.
* Proven expertise in electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, and hydraulics related to pool systems.
* Current certification from a recognized organization, such as Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
