Senior Physiotherapist - Community Rehabilitation Centre
About the role
The Grade 3 Physiotherapist role is suited to an experienced and autonomous clinician that can provide expert assessment, intervention, and management of patients requiring rehabilitation. This position involves the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Physiotherapy to optimise functional outcomes, promote independence, and enhance quality of life for patients with complex or chronic health conditions.
This position plays a pivotal clinical and non-clinical role within the multidisciplinary team, contributing to service development, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care. The Grade 3 Physiotherapist provides oversight of clinical practice, supports implementation of best practice standards, and contributes to ongoing evaluation of service performance.
In addition to clinical practice, this senior role includes the supervision, mentoring, coaching and professional development of junior physiotherapists, allied health assistants, and students. The Grade 3 Physiotherapist contributes to CRC being a supportive learning environment, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence in practice.
Responsibilities
Leading the delivery of patient‐centred physiotherapy services, including assessment, intervention, and management. Managing a caseload of adults across a range of rehabilitation conditions. Conducting performance reviews, providing mentorship to junior staff and students, developing service protocols, and participating in quality improvement projects.
