WorkPac are looking for an experienced HSE Safety Supervisor to champion health and safety compliance on a mining site.
- $63.79/hour
- 2/1 Roster
- Located in Murray Mallee Region
About Our Client
Our client was formed through a group of small, family companies into a national enterprise that offers multiple mining drilling and blasting services.
What you will be Doing
- Provide onsite support and facilitate incident investigations and risk assessments
- Partner with operational leaders to proactively manage health and safety risks
- Deliver the annual H&S; plan and support safety maturity initiatives
- Roll out H&S; training, coaching, and fundamental initiatives
- Coordinate site-based health and wellbeing initiatives
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
What you will need
- Relevant health and safety qualification or extensive experience in a similar role
- Highly regarded but not essential experience with incident investigations and risk assessment
- Minimum certificate IV in health and Safety or relevant field
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Strong influencing and engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting systems
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- C Class Manual Drivers Licence
