Description
We are looking for an experienced Truck & Dog driver with a Heavy Combination License to join our team in Quilpie. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers within the Quilpie region. Occasionally, this role will require the driver to drive a road train.

Tasks and Responsibilities
* BFM compliance
* Assist on Mail Run when required
* Assist with Store duties when needed, e.g. Loading and Unloading of packaged Lubricants
* Deliveries to Depots, Retail, Industrial, Mine & Rural/Farm sites
* Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
* Develop, grow and maintain good relationships with our customers
* Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times
* Operate HV trucks - pre-start checks, load at terminals, and deliver fuels to customers in a safe, timely and accurate manner
Skills and Experience
* Must have a valid HC Licence but MC is advantageous
* Forklift license
* Fuel experience beneficial, however not necessary
* Lowes are able to assist in obtaining the following requirements where appropriate:
o Dangerous Goods licence considered an advantage
o SLP is considered an advantage
o BFM Statement of Attainment
o Commercial Driver Medical Fitness
* Clean driving record and a commitment to a safe work environment
* Dedication to achieving high standards of safety
* Great customer service and friendly attitude
* Good communication skills both verbal and written
