About the role
Join Alston Coaches as a casual driver, based in Braeside Victoria, to embarkon a rewarding journey where you can meet new people and explore the beautiful sights of Australia.As a Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient transportation services to our valued customers. We are looking for experienced bus and coach drivers for school charters, rail replacement, tours, corporate, and charters.
What you'll be doing
1. Operate a coach or bus in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
2. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including loading and unloading luggage as needed
3. Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle, conducting regular safety checks
4. Respond to customer inquiries and provide a high level of customer service
5. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to the journey
What we're looking for
1. Must have a Current Victorian Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence (MR/HR/HC/MC)
2. A Current Victorian Driver Accreditation Certificate
3. Current Working With Children Check. (WWCC)
4. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional coach or bus driving experience.
5. Professional driving skills and high safety standards
6. Strong communication and team work.
7. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.
8. Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
9. Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading luggage
10. Flexible and adaptable to work a varied schedule, including weekends and public holidays
11. Australian work rights required for this position
