I'm a 22-year-old living in the beautiful Collie area, and I'm looking for an awesome support worker to join my team. If you're reliable, motivated, and love making a positive impact, this might be the perfect job for you!
I'm seeking assistance to help me live my life to the fullest. Your role will involve supporting my dignity, providing personal care, and assisting my family with some household chores. As I am non-verbal, I need someone who is creative and patient in finding ways to communicate with me. I currently have a wonderful team of support who provide a high standard of care, so I am looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into this already fantastic group.
Responsibilities
* Support my dignity and provide personal care.
* Assist my family with some household chores.
* Communicate effectively with me as I am non-verbal, using creative and patient approaches.
* Integrate into an existing, high-standard care team.
Ideal Team Member / Qualifications
* Experience in managing seizures, personal care, PEG management, and manual handling is a plus. Training available if you have the right attitude and values.
* Must be respectful, consistent in your support, and a trustworthy team player.
* Must have a drivers licence and your own reliable transport.
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Screening, the NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You", and "Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals."
* Willingness to undergo a medical assessment.
* Weekly Tuesday 7:30am-5:30pm.
Pay & Schedule
* Casual Pay Rates:
* Mon-Fri: $40/hr
* Sat/Sun: $46/hr
* Public Holiday: $61/hr
* Higher rates for last minute cover supports
