**About the role**
The role fosters strong stakeholder relationships and leads a multifaceted team, providing expert advice on economic development policies, and preparing high-quality reports and briefings. The role also entails prioritising and coordinating operational support across the Regional Economic Development division, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of key objectives. Additionally, the role manages the successful delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of the Regional Investment Attraction Program (RIAP), ensuring coordination across departments and effective risk management.
**Key accountabilities**
- Be accountable for and effectively delegate to a multifaceted team responsible for the delivery of marketing and communications, data analysis, project / program management and Executive Director support across the Regional Economic Development division.
- Project manage the delivery and evaluation of RIAP including coordination across RED and other Departments.
- Undertake program monitoring, reporting and evaluation for RIAP, including risk monitoring and management.
- Actively manage stakeholder relationships within and outside the NSW Government to secure their involvement in economic development initiatives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on new and existing policy related to investment attraction and economic development programs.
- Prepare timely, accurate, relevant and high-quality briefings, submissions, reports (including intuitive reporting dashboards), speeches and correspondence for key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and actively prioritise work across the Strategy and Operations team to ensure deadlines are met and a high standard of operational support is provided to the wider Regional Economic Development division.
