Major Federal Agency requires an experienced Administration Officer to join their team in Canberra
**Your new company**
This Federal Government Department is seeking for a ministerial administration officer to join the team. The Officers primarily responsibility will be processing of all ministerial correspondence and submissions within the Department. These positions also need to provide support and assistance to the Manager of the Ministerial Correspondence Unit.
**Your new role**
- Processing ministerial correspondence including registration, allocation, dispatch and finalising/closing as well as other related tasks as required.
- Completing all required work in a timely matter and ensure its accuracy and quality are of high standards
- Supporting fellow team members with section requirements as required
- Assisting in responding to requests received into the Inbox and via telephone relating to processes and procedures for the handling of ministerial correspondence and submissions
- Assisting with updates to relevant section Intranet pages
- Assisting with the processing of ministerial campaigns and referrals
- Assisting with quality assurance processing of ministerial correspondence
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have relevant experience in Government Department or a similar business environment. You must also be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2).
