Comprehensive Risk Manager

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading Australian Property Firm to recruit an experienced Risk Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This position is part of the Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance business unit and offers a chance to work within a strong team culture that encourages individual thinking and cross-training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering the risk program, including scoping and planning risk assessments and facilitating workshops.
* Help business units own their key risks and controls, and support them in using the enterprise risk management framework.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for business units, projects, and assets.
* Develop, analyse, and monitor risk metrics and support the preparation of risk reports for the Leadership Team and the Board.
Requirements:
* 5-7 years of experience in embedding an operational risk management framework across Funds Management, Property, Utilities or Financial Services.
* Demonstrated understanding of how to design, implement, and monitor risk management frameworks, strategies, and systems.
* Strong organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong engagement and influencing skills.
* Data analysis skills using Excel and Power BI along with experience using Protecht.
