Rockingham Peel Group (RPH) is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS). SMHS Mental Health Services deliver extensive inpatient and community-based programs across the South Metropolitan catchment area. The role of Clinical Nurse Specialist – MH Liaison GP is to provide clinical leadership, consultation, and coordination to promote understanding between General Practitioners (GPs) and Rockingham Kwinana Mental Health Service (RKMHS) to ensure optimum access and delivery of quality patient care. You will also provide triage, assessment, and time-limited management and support within the areas of specialty and advanced practice to consumers with complex mental health needs, their families, and carers.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and coordination to promote understanding between General Practitioners (GPs) and Rockingham Kwinana Mental Health Service (RKMHS) to ensure optimum access and delivery of quality patient care.
* Provide triage, assessment, and time-limited management and support within the areas of specialty and advanced practice to consumers with complex mental health needs, their families, and carers.
