We are offering a one year fellowship (81 hours per fortnight) in Echocardiography.ResponsibilitiesReceive training in all aspects of echocardiography in our busy echo service, including transthoracic and stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography for inpatients, outpatients and support functions within interventional, structural and electrophysiology laboratories.Supervise junior medical staff, manage their duties and coordinate the day‐to‐day work of the Echocardiography laboratory.Participate in the state‐wide services provided by our quaternary referral centre, including the Heart Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support programs.Engage actively with the structural heart program as part of the Heart Team, including intervention in mitral and tricuspid TEER cases and other investigational devices.Occasional exposure to additional modalities such as cardiac CT or CMR, as required by operational needs.Contribute to research with an experienced team of imaging researchers.QualificationsCompleted at least three years of Advanced Training in Clinical Cardiology.Holder of FRACP (Part 2) or a recognised equivalent.EEO Statement We embrace diversity and strive to have a workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
