**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our team as a Logistics Operations Manager. As a key member of our Contract Logistics division, you will oversee daily warehouse operations to achieve safety, service, cost, and productivity targets.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of daily warehouse operations to meet customer expectations and operational standards.
* Leadership of an on-site operations team, including multiple Operations Supervisors, Inventory Controllers, Operations Administrators, and Storepersons.
* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards through regular audits and reviews.
* Delivering accurate inventory management, reporting, and analysis to support operational decision-making.
* Collaboration with the Site Manager and functional leads to optimize resource planning and workflow efficiency.
* Maintenance of close communication with customers to ensure service levels are met and improvement opportunities identified.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A confident and hands-on approach to logistics management, with proven experience leading warehouse teams and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced 3PL environment.
* Experience managing 3PL contracts and leading teams across warehouse operations.
* A comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and systems.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate others.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to interpret operational and financial metrics.
