Hospital and Health Board Chairs and Members
As a leader in their local community, hospital and health board chairs and members play a vital role in ensuring that healthcare services are efficient, effective, and responsive to the needs of the community.
We are seeking experienced individuals to fill various board vacancies across Queensland. To be successful in this role, you will bring expertise in one or more of the following areas:
* Health management: including strategic planning, quality improvement, and risk management
* Business management: with a focus on financial management, human resources, and operational excellence
* Human resource management: including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development
* Clinical expertise: including medical knowledge, research experience, and leadership skills
* Legal expertise: including governance, compliance, and regulatory affairs
* Primary healthcare: including community health, prevention, and early intervention
* Health consumer and community engagement: including patient advocacy, public health, and community outreach
* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and community issues: including cultural awareness, Indigenous health, and social determinants of health
Suitable candidates will possess exceptional commercial acumen, strong governance expertise, confidence, and connections to strengthen local community engagement and collaborative partnerships. They will also demonstrate leadership and strategic thinking, personal integrity, resilience, and collaboration.
