Account Director Role
We are seeking a seasoned leader to fill the Account Director role. This is a key customer-facing position that requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage high-profile accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Delivery Management: Manage service delivery to customers, ensuring contracted service commitments are met, and contribute to continual improvement of Service Operations standards & practices.
* Sales Engagement: Engage with customers to identify project and service opportunities, form strong relationships, and understand their business drivers.
* Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships to ensure NECS is front of mind with solution and service offerings, assist clients to adopt and implement new approaches and practices, and anticipate and assess issues, risks, and opportunities facing the Company.
* Contract Management: Manage services to ensure they are delivered within the scope of the contract, negotiate contract variations as required, define requirements for new services, and ensure such services are professionally introduced & accepted.
* Financial Management: Manage service risks, control service costs, improve productivity of the contract, increase profitability, and continually improve cost effectiveness for the customer.
Requirements:
1. Leadership Experience: Proven senior experience (10 years) in leadership or management roles in an IT managed services or IT focused service delivery environment.
2. Tech Leadership: Significant experience in leading, managing, and progressing technical or diverse operational teams.
3. Commercial Acumen: Commercial / P&L management experience.
4. Customer Escalation Management: Proven track record managing customer escalations.
5. Contract Expertise: Experience in contract management – preferably managed services contracts.
6. Sales Process Understanding: Good understanding of the sales process (lead identification, qualification through to closure).
7. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage with all levels of Technical and Managerial staff.
8. Relationship Building: Demonstrated high level of relationship management skills.
9. Presentation Skills: Ability to present compelling proposals and influence continuous improvement.
