Trinity Petroleum Services Pty Ltd is a locally operated company with 16 Fuel & Convenience Retail outlets in Northern Queensland. We have a Retail Assistant Manager position available at our service station on Sheridan Street in Cairns.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys motivating and inspiring others and has a passion for high level customer service and personalising the shopping experience. It is essential that you are available to work across store trading hours, including weekends and that you have experience in safe handling and preparation of take away food. This role will also require you to undertake merchandising and rotation of stock, therefore you must be physically capable of undertaking heavy lifting and being on your feet for long periods of time.

About the Role
As a Retail Assistant Manager you take pride in the success and presentation of your site and have a great attention to detail. You will be required to assist the Site Manager in all daily operations of the site, which includes;
* Assisting with daily site operations and maintaining store presentation standards
* Meeting assigned budgets and KPIs
* Staff rostering, mentoring, coaching and training
* Food preparation, safe handling and compliance with food safety standards
* High volume cash handling and daily reconciliations
* Delivering exceptional customer service and operating the console
* Merchandising, stock rotation, receipting goods, restocking and layout changes
* Availability to work across trading hours, including weekends.
This role is physically active and requires the ability to lift up to 20kgs and work on your feet for extended periods.
