In this role you will be responsible for refining and automating workflows within the organisation to improve efficiency and accuracy. You'll be engaging with business teams and identifying areas for improvement, developing automation solutions, and ensuring a smooth integration into existing systems. Your work will directly support service delivery and operational excellence, leveraging the latest in automation technology. Partnering closely with various teams, you'll ensure that process enhancements align with best practices and contribute to the organisation's innovation landscape. What you will do: Your part in the ongoing success of our department, in supporting key Data and AI services will see you responsible for a variety of work, including, but not limited to: Conduct detailed process analyses to identify automation opportunities and develop recommendations for streamlining workflow efficiencies. Design, test, and implement RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere, ensuring they meet business requirements and user needs. Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, understand challenges, and ensure successful adoption of automated processes. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow charts, requirements specifications, and testing plans, contributing to clear project communication. Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing automated processes, suggesting and enacting improvements to optimise ongoing effectiveness and efficiency. Stay current with advancements in automation technologies and methodologies, incorporating best practices to enhance the organisation's automation initiatives. Support the training and upskilling of staff in the use of automation tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation within the company. What you’ll bring to the role: A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, ideally with a focus on data analysis or process engineering. Accredited certification in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere, with additional certifications in data analysis being a plus. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in analysing and implementing process automation solutions in a professional setting. Practical knowledge of workflow design, RPA software, and an understanding of how to apply these tools to streamline business processes effectively. Familiarity with the principles of user-centric design for forms automation and the ability to harmonise this with business requirements. Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to identify automation opportunities and measure the impact of deployed solutions. Competency in creating clear documentation of process flows, requirements, and test cases, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
