The Role
We're seeking a hands-on, motivated Head Chef to lead our small but passionate kitchen team. You will work closely with a dedicated Sous Chef and junior kitchen staff to maintain and elevate the food standards that have driven Anthill's success.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sous Chef or Head Chef role
* Ready to step into a Head Chef position and lead a team with confidence
* Passionate about classic pub food with flair for creative daily specials
* A hands-on leader with strong coaching and mentoring skills
* Committed to food quality, consistency, and operational excellence
What You'll Do
* Lead and develop the kitchen brigade in a supportive, team-focused environment
* Oversee all kitchen operations including menu execution, stock control, and hygiene standards
* Drive creative specials to complement the classic menu and keep locals coming back
* Work closely with management to grow the lunch trade and maintain steady food sales growth
