We are looking for a passionate and skilled person to deliver programs, activities and events for young people. As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test.

* Have a positive, welcoming and engaging manner when dealing with young people, their guardians and our community
* Be able to 'think outside the box' and be flexible in the delivery of services to meet our community's and young people's evolving expectations
* Work outside of office hours; usually afternoons and early evenings
Requirements
* Progress towards or have obtained a qualification in youth work, social work or similar discipline
* Strong ability to relate to a diverse range of young people
* Experience working with young people
* Understanding of Aboriginal culture and experience mentoring Aboriginal youth (desirable)
* Skills and experience in skate, music, art or other specific youth sub-cultures (desirable)
* Administrative and program planning skills including ability to navigate various software systems
* Working With Children Card / Current National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months)
* C (unrestricted) Licence
