Key Responsibilities: Welcome patients and visitors warmly, creating a professional and caring first impression. Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and follow-ups using Geni software. Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate, friendly assistance to patient inquiries. Process invoices, payments, and Medicare/private health fund claims with attention to detail. Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure accuracy in all administrative tasks. Support doctors and healthcare staff by coordinating schedules and patient flow. Ensure patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Requirements: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting. Experience using Geni practice management software is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
