Job Description
We are expanding our Occupational Therapy team and welcome experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapists eager to be part of a multidisciplinary team and make a difference.
You'll bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.
Suitable candidates will provide supports to NDIS participants living in various areas, including Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Central Coast, and surrounding regions.

No two days are ever the same - you might find us working in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, homes, and/or our clinic space.

We are looking for Occupational Therapists who share our passion for disability and are excited about working across the lifespan with physical disability, paediatrics, adults, psychosocial conditions, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
* Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and meet their goals.
* Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
* A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills.
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
