A rare opportunity is now available for a proactive export professional to join their team in a key client-facing role, split between the office and an on-site with major account.
Responsibilities will include: Manage end-to-end export airfreight and seafreight operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all touchpoints.
Negotiate competitive export freight rates to meet client expectations and protect commercial margins.
Liaise closely with suppliers, overseas agents, carriers, transport partners, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless cargo flow.
Ensure full compliance with export regulations and maintain accurate shipment records.
Prepare and manage all export documentation, reporting, and coordinate timely export clearance with customs brokers.
Monitor vessel departures, arrivals, and container availability, providing proactive status updates to clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through reliable communication, problem-solving, and exceptional service delivery.
What you'll need: 2+ years' experience working in a freight forwarding environment with a strong focus on export operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
Professional, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple export files in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Cargowise is essential.
