Ablethorpe Recruitment is seeking in-house lawyers for multiple Melbourne-based roles, including Legal Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel and General Counsel across various businesses. Teams are supportive and deliver high-quality work.
Responsibilities
* In-House Banking Role – advise on banking disciplines such as structured finance, transaction banking, property finance, securitization, retail banking or financial services. Package circa A$180,000–A$220,000 inc. super.
* In-House Funds Lawyer – provide commercial legal advice on registered managed investment schemes and fund-formation projects. Engage with directors, executives and staff across the organisation; support projects, operations and regulatory matters. Remuneration circa A$180,000–A$220,000 inclusive.
* Senior Legal Counsel – Listed Telecommunications Company – 5 to 8 years corporate/commercial experience including drafting and negotiating contracts, Corporations Act, governance and M&A matters. Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters. Salary from around A$200,000 depending on experience.
* Legal Counsel (Employment) – employment and industrial relations focus; align with the business strategy, provide expert legal advice on employment and workplace relations, ensure compliance, mitigate risk and protect the organisation’s interests. Varied and engaging scope.
* In-House Employment Lawyer – permanent role with a leading global health and well-being company; substantial footprint in Australia and ANZ head office in Melbourne. Package circa A$160,000–A$200,000 inclusive of super.
