Data Analyst and Actuary

Key Responsibilities
* Extracting, cleansing, and preparing data from multiple sources, particularly the data warehouse, and advising on appropriate data checks for reasonableness.
* Updating and development of regular performance monitoring.
* Utilising statistical and mathematical modelling techniques for analytical work, including actuarial monitoring and analyses, data tabulations, scheme projects, and cost benefit analyses.
* Undertaking ad hoc modelling requests and report production.
Requirements
* Experience with R or Python in data manipulation, predictive modelling, optimisation, or data visualisation.
* Exposure to statistical or ML modelling.
* Ability to create presentations or reports based on analytics.
* Demonstrated ability to autonomously complete analytics tasks and link them to broader problem contexts.
* Relevant academic qualifications, including tertiary studies in Actuarial Studies or Mathematics/Statistics and Part 1 of the Actuarial Associate qualification (or progress towards).
* 2-4 years' experience in an Actuarial role.
