The Opportunity
ASG Equipment Group is looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our growing Dubbo-based workshop team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding heavy mining and civil equipment, keeping our up-to-date fleet in top condition.
From engines to final drives, diagnostics to full machine rebuilds, this role is suited to a fitter who has strong post-trade experience across CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment and takes pride in quality workmanship.
For the right candidate, there’s potential to step into a Leading Hand role and take on additional responsibilities in the workshop.

- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with significant post-trade experience
- Solid hands-on expertise with CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu machinery
- Proven ability to carry out diagnostics, repairs, and complete machine rebuilds
- A strong focus on safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to working in a team
