About the role: We are advertising to fill two (2) Gardener Truck Driver positions, this role carries out construction and maintenance work throughout the Tweed Shire. The Gardener Truck Driver maintains parks, gardens, sports fields, and trees, including weed control and turf upkeep. They manage maintenance runs, supervise assistants when assigned, and work independently. The role includes giving direction to support staff and performing other duties as required. Tasks are carried out under the guidance of a supervisor or tradesperson. We are seeking: Hold a current Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle licence. Strong literacy and numeracy skills for reading instructions, maintaining records, and completing reports. Proven ability to perform a range of maintenance tasks across various work types. Capable of working independently and leading others in a team environment.
