Assistant Director, Russell Fox LibraryFull-time Temporary Details: The Russell Fox Library provides legal information resources and research services to support the operations of the ACT Courts and Tribunal, including the ACT Supreme Courts, ACT Magistrates Court, ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal. The Library provides information services to the Library's clients through print and online collections using Library catalogue, online subscriptions, intranet sites and external websites and other relevant tools.As an Assistant Director you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the Russell Fox Library which provides information resources and high-level research to ACT judicial officers, tribunal members and Law Courts & Tribunals staff, as well as basic access and information services to the legal profession, self-represented litigants and the public. As such, an individual with the following skills and experience will find this position challenging and exciting:Strong leadership, management, and negotiation skills.Demonstrated experience in managing library operations, including subscriptions and both face-to-face and online services.Demonstrated excellent customer service and organisational skills.Eligibility/Other Requirements: Mandatory:Qualification from a tertiary institution in library or information management is essential.Notes: This is a temporary position available from 12 June 2025 to 15 August 2025.
