About the Role:
* We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead our waterway restoration projects in Bendigo Creek and its tributaries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water sensitive urban design and stormwater engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Investigate, design, and deliver waterway restoration projects that meet community needs and environmental requirements.
2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance water quality and reduce flood risk.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Engage with external stakeholders to promote the project's goals and benefits.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in water sensitive urban design and/or stormwater engineering.
* Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
