About the CompanyQuinn Allan has been exclusively engaged by a leading healthcare organisation to appoint a Director of Finance and Corporate Services for one of their largest facilities in Victoria. Reporting directly to the Facility General Manager, with a dotted line to the State Manager, this is a true "finance-plus" leadership role. The successful candidate will not only ensure the financial integrity of operations but will also play a broader role in the overall management and performance of the facility. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional seeking to expand their remit and contribute more to broader business outcomes. This role will suit an individual with a strong financial foundation who is motivated to step into a more operationally focused position, take ownership and actively contribute to driving performance, efficiency, and growth. About the JobWorking in close partnership with the Facility General Manager, this role will be key in driving business performance, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making across the facility. The successful candidate will bring a mix of financial control and commercial acumen and will be comfortable operating beyond traditional finance. In addition to leading the finance function, the role will oversee broader support services and administrative functions, amongst others, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. With five direct reports, this position requires a proven people leader who can develop, mentor, and drive team performance while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, analyse, and deliver annual budgets, including ongoing monitoring of monthly performance, providing actionable insights to support the achievement of business objectives. Partner with the General Manager to support growth initiatives, offering detailed financial analysis and strategic advice across forecasting, budgeting and revenue optimisation. Collaborate closely with both clinical and non‐clinical stakeholders to ensure financial targets are met, including active monitoring and management of labour expenditure, procurement, operational costs, etc. Provide leadership and oversight across non‐clinical functions, extending beyond finance to ensure effective and efficient support to the business. Ensure strong financial governance, compliance and internal controls are maintained. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be a commercially minded and hands‐on professional who thrives in a purpose‐driven environment. You will understand the importance of patient outcomes and consistently prioritise the best interests of patients in all decision‐making. You will be a confident, credible and proven business partner with strong financial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential, along with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will also demonstrate: Proven experience in people management, with the ability to lead, develop and motivate teams. CPA or CA qualification, with a minimum of three years' experience in a similar leadership role. Experience within the healthcare sector ideally, or experience managing finance within a large facility or operational environment. A demonstrated ability to partner effectively with non‐finance stakeholders and translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
