Join Saputo Dairy Australia in a 6-month fixed term contract opportunity as a Commercial Finance Analyst based at our Head Office.
How you will make contributions that matter
Operating within the Commercial Finance Team you will support the Senior Commercial Manager (Retail and Marketing) and the Domestic Retail function by providing key stakeholders with accurate and timely accounting, reporting analysis and Commercial advice. Furthermore, you will assist with the decision making for pricing processes, margin reviews, product build requirements and forecasting reporting and analysis requirements.
Key elements of your role will include:
* Supporting the development and execution of the financial plan, budgets and forecast for the Domestic Retail Sales function.
* Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to optimize profitability.
* Collaborating with the Retail Sales teams to provide financial insights and support in decision-making processes.
* Supporting the process & preparation of accurate and timely financials reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
About you
You will have:
* CA/CPA qualified and Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or related field
* In depth understanding of FMCG retail operations, financial analysis and business strategy.
* Experience with improving and enforcing business systems and controls.
* Sound technical skills including IFRS reporting, interpretation and compliance.
* Experience with SAP accounting system would be highly regarded.
* Strong analytical skills and development of insights and recommendations for action
* Dairy industry or FMCG experience
