They have been successful in delivering a quality range of products, services, and solutions to their customers throughout Australia due to their commitment in providing an exceptional level of value-add and customer service.As State Sales Manager SA, your role will be to drive the sales objectives and initiatives for South Australia to deliver on State budgeted sales revenue & revenue margins, and to proactively grow the company's profile and business objectives for the State.
You will be actively involved in contributing to the development of the business sales & marketing strategy, executing the sales plan, proactively building relationships with Key customers in the market (including Trade Contractors, T1, T2, T3 Builders etc), and building on the company's base sales volume, budget, and market share in the Region.
In growing the SA sales revenue, it is anticipated that you will, in time, build a sales team and further drive and develop the business model in South Australia in line with the States capabilities and performance success.The ideal candidate will have a proven background in senior sales and business development, or "hands on" sales management experience with continual field sales exposure in the building and construction sector.
Experience gained in selling products such as concrete, reinforcing steel, or other structural / technical building and construction products will be well regarded.
You must have developed a strong network of customers in the industry in SA (i.e., Trade Contractors and Builders (T1, T2, T3)) and be able to hit the ground running.You will have demonstrated: developing and managing major / key customers, growing sales volume / revenue, and or leading from the front as a "hands on" Manager in the field where you have continued to manage your own sales budget (and enjoyed it), being proactive, strategic, results focused with excellent organizational skills, able to communicate, negotiate and present effectively at all levels, and able to deliver real value to your customers.
Tertiary qualifications are well regarded but not essential.
