About the Opportunity
Join a major new mining development near Middlemount and step into a long-term role working with a modern fleet on a high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work on large-scale mining equipment including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr
* Identify and rectify mechanical and hydraulic issues to minimise downtime
* Complete routine servicing and breakdown repairs to keep production running efficiently
* Work collaboratively with site teams to ensure safe and compliant operations
* Assist with mobilisation activities and commissioning of new machinery for the project

Requirements
* Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic
* Proven experience working on heavy mining machinery
* Strong commitment to safety and collaborative site culture
* Reliable, self-driven and committed to delivering high-quality work
* Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain
