This specialist in-reach service provides timely support to residents in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) experiencing severe to extreme Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD). Spend weekends exploring coastlines or engaging in local hospitality and personal passions.The Role:Provide comprehensive clinical services through assessment, case management, and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.Deliver evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with complex mental health issues, developing and implementing specialised treatment programs.Work as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, offering support and consultation as needed.Prepare specialised reports as required.You will need:Leadership skills and proven ability to manage and coordinate clinical activities within a multidisciplinary adult inpatient mental health team, assisting the NUM/ADON in resource management.Specialist knowledge and advanced practice in acute inpatient psychiatry, with the ability to conduct assessments and deliver specialist treatments.Capacity to undertake a leadership role, including supervision and support to staff.Refer to the Statement of Duties for all selection criteria to address in your application.Details of appointment:Fixed term full-time, day shift position, working 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon as possible for up to 15 months. Hours are negotiable.Note: The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for up to 12 months from the publication date.Salary: $106,570 to $112,440 per annum (Pro rata), plus 11.5% superannuation.
