About the role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse and Deliveries professional to join our team at Now Furniture Australia Pty Ltd in Fyshwick, ACT. This Casual (Wed, Fri and Sat only) role is an integral part of our successful mattress shop operation, responsible for warehouse operations and ensuring efficient and timely deliveries to our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Working 2-3 days a week
Wednesday, Friday and every second Saturday from 9am - 5pm
* Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse, including stock receiving, storage, and order picking
* Maintain a clean, tidy warehouse including regular cleaning and checking of all warehouse equipment including but not limiting to forklift and walkie
* Ensure all products in the warehouse are handled, stored and transported to customer safely and securely
* Loading and unloading of products from the deliveries
* Assist in the coordination and execution of mattress deliveries to customers
* Maintain accurate inventory records and provide reporting as required
* Support the wider retail team as needed, including customer service tasks
What we're looking for
* A full-unrestricted Australia drivers license is a must
* Prior experience in a similar warehousing or logistics role, preferably in the furniture or retail industry
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, coworkers, and third-party logistics providers
* Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
