Role DetailsRole Title: Parts CoordinatorLocation: Remote, NTReporting To: Senior Maintenance Planner / Relevant Area SupervisorEmployment Type: ContractorRoster: 14/7Role PurposeThe Parts Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting maintenance planning and execution across LV, HME, shutdowns, and other operational areas.
This role will focus on improving parts traceability, cost control, and inventory alignment, while also providing cross-functional support to teams including Water Treatment, Electrical, and Warehouse.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate ordering of parts for LV, HME, and shutdown activitiesEnsure timely availability of critical spares and consumablesTrack and report on parts usage and costsCreate and manage notifications, work orders, and purchase requisitions in SAPMaintain and update SAP Master Data (materials, vendors, BOMs)Support alignment of stock items with maintenance plans and asset strategiesAssist with parts logistics and coordination during shutdownsCollaborate with warehouse team to reduce obsolete or slow-moving stockSupport critical spares reviews and BOM developmentProvide support to Water Treatment and Electrical teamsHelp free up senior staff by taking on operational tasksMaintain tracking sheets and dashboards to monitor role impactIdentify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsSkills & Experience (Essential)Strong working knowledge of SAP (PM and MM modules)Minimum 1-2 years of SAP experience requiredExperience with Master Data management (materials, BOMs, vendors)Understanding of maintenance planning and asset management1-2 years hands-on maintenance planning experience requiredFamiliarity with LV and HME equipment and partsWorking knowledge of LV and HME equipment and parts requiredStrong organisational and communication skillsAustralian permanent residents only will be consideredHigh school completion minimum education requirementExperience supporting shutdowns or major maintenance eventsKnowledge of warehouse operations and inventory controlAbility to work collaboratively across multiple teamsProficiency in Power BI or Excel for reporting and trackingNote: Salary insights are provided for profile matching and may be discussed during the interview process.Application QuestionsYour application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
