Job Role
The Electrical Reliability Engineer position involves providing specialized engineering expertise to support the fixed plant maintenance department.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
* Lead electrical defect elimination investigations and manage assigned defects, ensuring effective resolution and minimal impact on operations.
* Collaborate with process control engineers and project teams to drive plant performance from an electrical aspect by linking reliability with process improvement initiatives.
* Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and mentoring support to the fixed plant maintenance team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the power generation or industrial sector.
* Strong collaboration skills, supporting reliability initiatives and systems of work to achieve shared goals.
* Familiarity with Citect/SCADA systems and reliability methods like RCA facilitation and RCM application, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
* Knowledge of Australian Electrical & Instrumentation installation standards and industrial safety codes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
* Proficient use of CMMS systems like SAP or AX, streamlining maintenance operations and enhancing efficiency.
