Technical Support Specialist

The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role will provide technical assistance to our end-users, both remotely and face-to-face.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
* Coordinating and escalating incidents within established timelines
* Providing support for incidents raised via phone or service desk
* Liaising with clients, providing outstanding customer service
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
* Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
* Providing technical support across the company (in-person or over the phone)
* Setting up accounts for new users
* Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
Requirements:
Previous demonstrable IT experience ideally 1 year in a similar position. A Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science (or relevant industry certifications) is desirable.
Demonstrated experience with Windows systems, desktops, and servers. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, ensuring deadlines are met.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly customer-focused with a proactive work ethic. A team player who displays enthusiasm for the team and supports team objectives and willingly participates.
A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required.
