We are looking for an experienced Wholesale / Retail Shop Manager to oversee our seafood retail operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, some experience selling to the wholesale market, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, including sales, staff management, inventory control, and ensuring a superior shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the seafood retail store located in North Wollongong, 2500.
* Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
* Implement and maintain merchandising standards to maximize sales opportunities.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive store traffic and increase sales.
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management within the seafood industry.
* Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday
* Proficient in retail management software.
