The Position
- Prepare and deliver fresh, high-quality meals for college students and events.
- Lead daily kitchen operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive, service-focused culture.
- Ensure full OH&S; compliance, following safe work practices and food handling procedures.
- Manage stock levels and ordering to meet budget requirements.
- Support training and development of apprentices and junior chefs

The Person
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Experience as a Chef or Sous Chef
- Skilled in bulk cooking with a strong focus on quality and presentation
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and food safety knowledge
- A team player who can also work independently
- At least 5 years experience in a commercial kitchen, with sound knowledge of food safety requirements
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays and nights when needed
- Obtain a Blue Card (paid)
