Investment operations supervisor

We are partnering with a well-established, high-performing, global investment services provider, to appoint an experienced Investment Operations Supervisor into a key leadership role within their operations function.

This is an opportunity to step into a hands‐on supervisory position overseeing core middle and back‐office processes, while leading and developing a high‐performing team.

The Role

You will be responsible for supervising day‐to‐day operational activities across a broad investment portfolio, ensuring processes are executed accurately and efficiently. Alongside this, you will take ownership of team leadership, workflow oversight and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversight of trade life cycle processes, including trade matching and settlements
• Supervising reconciliations and daily operational controls
• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of operations professionals
• Reviewing and approving key activities, managing escalations and reducing operational risk
• Driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across investment, risk and finance teams

About You

To be successful, you will bring a strong technical grounding in investment operations, coupled with leadership capability:

• Demonstrated experience across middle/back‐office investment operations
• Strong understanding of trade matching, settlements and reconciliations
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
• High attention to detail with a structured, process‐driven approach
• Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment
