IGA Mosman Fresh is seeking to employ a Fresh Produce Assistant with a real passion for food to complement our existing team.
The role is varied and includes:
Producing our grab & go value-add range of cut, sliced and diced fruit & vegetables.
Assisting the Produce Manager in operations of the Fresh Produce department
Presenting, merchandising, quality control & rotation of stock
The role is approx 20-30hrs per week and will commence as casual with the chance to progress to Part-Time or Full-Time.
We are open 6am-10pm 365 days a year so the successful applicant may be required to work weekends. ONLY people with 2 years or more Fresh Produce experience will be considered for this position.
Some on the job training will be provided to the successful applicant in order to introduce them to our in-store recipes and methods.
Additional work can be provided from within our Grocery Department or Deli Department depending upon the flexibility and availability of the successful applicant.
Applicants who have previous Fresh Produce experience (preferably from within the Independent Supermarket sector) will be favorably considered for this position.
