We are seeking an experienced Trainer Assessor to join our Tier 1 client in the Bowen Basin. In this role you will deliver high‑quality workplace training and assessments to site personnel, ensuring compliance with site procedures, safety requirements and industry regulations, while working closely with maintenance teams to provide practical instruction and evaluate competence across a range of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver training and assessment in accordance with site and legislative requirements.
* Conduct competency assessments and maintain accurate training records.
* Provide work‑skill instruction to employees and contractors.
* Support continuous improvement in training practices and safety outcomes.
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain).
* Previous experience in a mining environment.
Additional qualifications that will be highly regarded
* High‑risk work licence for forklift, elevated work platform, scissor lift, forklift etc.
* Working at heights.
* Confined space.
* Gas test atmospheres.
